Last month, the VocalBoothToGo team had the pleasure of attending VOcation 2026 in beautiful CuraƧao – and itā€™s safe to say, the experience exceeded our expectations!

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was exactly what makes the voiceover industry so special: creative, supportive, and full of passionate professionals who genuinely love what they do. The stunning island backdrop didnā€™t hurt either.

VOcation isnā€™t just another conference – itā€™s a gathering of some of the most talented and dedicated voice actors, coaches, and industry experts from around the world. This year, we had the opportunity to connect in person with incredible professionals, including Bridgit Reale, Michael Scott, and Carin Gilfry, along with many other talented voices shaping the industry today.

These conversations are what fuel innovation for us. Hearing firsthand how voice actors work, travel, and record helps us continue improving our products in ways that truly matter.

One of the highlights of the event was seeing attendees interact with our portable vocal booths in a real-world setting. Whether it was testing acoustic performance, portability, or ease of setup, the feedback we received was incredibly valuable.

I am a diehard loyalist for VocalBoothToGo products! And I have been for many years because I'm expat and I have been living overseas on and off for 14 years of my career. It started with VOMO. I have to travel a lot. I am always on the go, living in rental properties where I can't build large studio, put holes in the walls etc. But VocalBoothToGo from moment one allowed me the opportunity to travel, keep rental spaces clean and easy. I love a variety and also weight allowance. VocalBoothToGo always given me products that are very lightweight like VOMO or FAV20. I love Hylander portable vocal booth! When I typically travel, I'd take luggage rack from the hotel and then fortify with little pillows and blankets. It got the job done, but sound wasn't consistent. FAV booth is much easier to carry, you can fold it, put it inside any suitcase. It's great for auditions and also sound recording sessions. For example, when I was in Switzerland, sound recording studios close really early but my client was in US time zone, pacific standard. So my only option was to do the session in my hotel room and Hylander booth (FAV20) worked out perfectly! My client didn't even know that sound was recorded in hotel! Sound was perfect. That's why I use FAV or VOMO all the time when I travel.

I bought Hylander booth for myself and then for my friends! I loved it! I travel a lot because I go to a lot of conferences. And when I travel, I have to have something to record because I'm very busy. I do probably 3 to 5 recording sessions a week, on the top of that, I have to do own projects and things. I had never found something that was soundproof enough and had enough sound dampening that I could fit into suitcase and take with me. Then I saw Hylander booth FAV20. It's so light, weights around 3 pounds, I just put it into my suitcase then clothes on the top and I just check one bag. It's so convenient and sound is absolutely fantastic.
