Last week, the spirit of inclusivity and perseverance took center stage at Penn State University, as Pennsylvania proudly hosted the Special Olympics Summer Games. Among the many vital services provided to athletes was hearing testing and audiology screening — a crucial part of ensuring every participant receives the care and support they deserve.
To meet the unique challenges of conducting accurate hearing tests in a bustling, high-traffic environment, our team at VocalBoothToGo stepped in to help. We were honored to supply two mobile, soundproofer vocal booths SPB63, specifically designed to create the quiet, controlled environment necessary for precise audiological evaluations.
Over the course of the event, more than 150 hearing tests were conducted inside our specialized sound booths. With athletes coming from all across the state, these booths provided a reliable and quiet refuge where medical professionals could focus and athletes could feel at ease.
Our mobile vocal booths aren’t just for musicians or recording artists — they are engineered to be highly versatile. In this particular case, they transformed into temporary hearing test stations, blocking out external noise and allowing audiologists to do their job effectively, no matter the noisy surroundings.
Being a part of the Special Olympics Pennsylvania was more than a service — it was a moment of pride. We witnessed firsthand how small contributions like ours can help make a big impact. Supporting the health and wellness of these extraordinary athletes aligns deeply with our mission to make high-quality acoustic solutions accessible and portable.
