SPB Booth assembly FAQ:

Q: I did not see assembly instructions enclosed in the box.

A:  We do not include the instructions with the product, because video instructions better explain the assembly process.

Please see the Link to Video and Written Instructions here: https://vocalboothtogo.com/vocalboothtogo-product-instructions/

Q: When we assembled the frame, some of the frame pieces snapped together fine, but some of them, we had to use a hammer because they would not fit together.

A:  For SPB 33 we used Plastic connectors.  Sometimes the mold is not correct and it results in a slightly thicker connector and sometimes the Aluminum Frame bars are slightly bent during the hole punching process and this prevents the smooth fitting of the Pieces.

Before we ship the booth,  we check all plastic connectors to make sure they fit and we sand down any excess, this is why you might see scratches on the Plastic.  If your plastic connector still does not fit into the Metal tube, then most probably that is because the tube is slightly bent out of square shape. It might need a very little adjustment.

Use plyers to slightly open the tube FROM THE INSIDE. Do not bend it. Close the “jaws” of the plyers, insert in the tube, aligning with the side with the holes, and open the “jaws”.

Q: Some of the frame pieces have the sticker (for example, “C”) crossed out and another letter written in permanent marker. Why is that?

A: It is possible that the part was mislabeled and was corrected

Q: After putting it together, the frame is slightly bent in the upper right corner making it difficult to close the door.

A: If all bars are straight, but the front of the door frame is lower than the hinged part (sagging), then it is normal.  This is the inevitable trade off of the loose connections.
The parts are not fastened together by screws or bolts, therefore there is no rigidity that exists in a hard rigid doors, like in a house.

Think of the frame as a SKELETON, that is loose without muscles supporting it. When you put up the panels, the door panel will support the frame.

Also when you fully assemble the door ( panels and all), make sure NOT to unzip the top portion of the door flap completely).

Q: Can I zip up the door from the inside?

A: Yes. The Zipper slider is designed to be used from both sides and there is an extended holding strap that allows you to reach it from the inside.  It is important not to open the zipper all the way to the end of the zipper.

The first 4-6 inches should be zipped all the time. It helps to keep the top flap from bending down and creating a permanent bent in the Lining.
