VOMO is a portable vocal booth that is designed to provide good acoustic environment for your recording. It is not designed to be stuffed with laptops, interface, and a toaster!
We noticed that some people do just that. They manage to place everything inside the VOMO and it gets overloaded.
When VOOMO is mounted on a stand or a tripod it has only one point of attachments, so with the hood and especially when overloaded with gear – it might be wobbly and somewhat unstable.
This is why we designed this support arm. The VOMO support arm allows you to make it more stable so you can place more gear inside.
We still DO NOT recommend that you stuff the VOMO with unnecessary gear, but if you do – we want to lend you an arm of support!
NEW! VOMO support arm: unpacking and complete setup tutorial (YouTube video).
Support arm comes disassembled:
Align the parts as follows:
Then attach them together.
Use Allen key to fasten the Support bar to the Telescopic arm:
To use the Support arm, attach the clamp to the tripod leg or stand, extend the telescopic arm as needed and place the Support bar under the booth.
The Support bar should “hook in” to the table base ledge so it does not slip off.
Tighten up the knobs.
If the support angle is sharp – position the ball head in a way that it fits the slot in the part and it will allow you to have a sharper angle.
