For a long time, customers were asking if they can purchase products that are somewhat damaged or slightly broken, but can be repaired, that they could buy at a discount.
In fact, we do have such products. Most of the damages (about 99% of it actually) come from Customs and Border patrol inspections. When the container gets inspected at customs they unload the whole container, slush the bundles open with knives and take out the blankets to inspect. This results in cuts and tears in blankets and some get very dirty, which is visible on white products. (The other one percent is a manufacturer error: sometimes they place grommets on the wrong side, or the fabric is folded or begin/end of the roll is mismatched.)
But our loss is your gain. Now you can get these blankets at a fraction of the cost!
In most cases, the damage consists of only just small rips/soiled spots and only on one side, so if the blanket is hanged with the damaged side facing the wall – the damage will not even be visible.
The damage will not affect the performance of the blankets. The blankets are not going to fall apart and the filler will not fall out. Most of the damage is cosmetical and functionality remains intact.
So this is for DIY folks, who are after functionality and can deal with minor inconveniences.
